Owned and operated by the Mitchell family, GBK is deeply rooted in the Gunnedah community. Having grown up in Gunnedah, the Mitchells have spent their lives surrounded by animals — and that passion is reflected in everything they do. As the operators of the Gunnedah Veterinary Hospital, the Mitchell family brings a level of professional expertise and genuine dedication to animal welfare that sets GBK apart from the rest.

Our Facility
GBK is a purpose-built, 5-acre boarding facility located just 5 minutes from Gunnedah CBD — designed from the ground up with the wellbeing of animals in mind.
Every detail of our facility has been carefully considered to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for both dogs and cats. Our canine guests enjoy dedicated accommodation sections tailored to their age and personality, while our feline guests are housed in a separate, peaceful cat wing — completely away from the dogs.
